Returning to Us, Corbin's Bend book 2, by PK Corey

PK Corey’s latest book Returning to Us is the latest installment in the Corbin’s Bend series. Set in an imaginary town in Colorado, this more than just the story of Hal and Susan. Many familiar characters from other books in the series make cameo appearances. All these books can be read as standalones, but you may want to start with this one. As the reviews testify, PK Corey delivers believable characters in situations that ring true.
Not only is PK Corey a good writer but she tackles mature love, an often missed dimension of the DD / TiH genre. Anyone who knows that love and all its wonderful dimensions deepen over time will enjoy PK’s depiction of its evergreen nature.

She needed the steadiness of the dominant husband she’d once had.

Blurb:

After thirty-five years, Susan thought her marriage was over the morning after their last child's wedding. Hal, her husband, said he needed to talk about something important. She knew it couldn’t be good. They rarely even spoke anymore. In the beginning they’d been so close, so passionate. Practicing domestic discipline had been a wonderful part of their lives—sometimes.
But over the years it had all drifted away, even when Susan asked for what she needed. He would occasionally give her a mild, sexy spanking, but the real discipline she craved was a thing of the past. Now, Hal suddenly wanted to talk about moving to Colorado to live in Corbin's Bend, a community where spanking was not only accepted, but encouraged. Could this bring back the closeness and passion they’d once had? Could Susan trust that this time Hal would truly step up?

Nothing in this book should be interpreted as Blushing Books’ or the authors’ advocating any non-consensual spanking or other sexual activity or the spanking of minors. Excerpt:

Hal guided her over his knees and began spanking. It felt delicious! His spanks weren’t so very hard, but they fully reignited the burn left by the paddle. Susan was squirming. When Hal dipped his finger into her moist center, she nearly came off his lap.
“That’s what I suspected,” he said sternly. “You are in trouble for blatant disrespect and you’re acting like you’re planning on some sexual adventure. You’d better plan on holding back and behaving yourself. If you come, I’m going to have to take my belt to you.”
This was pure playacting and Susan knew it. Hal used this tactic on rare occasions and only while roleplaying. Susan had no idea why this was such a hot button for her. It didn’t matter. These words, these threats released powerful emotions in her like nothing else. And Hal well knew it.
Standing her up, he removed the rest of her clothes. Hal laid her on the bed. “Just because you’re being punished, there is no reason I can’t have my fun.”
Susan watched as Hal removed his clothes. Her body felt like a taut violin string. She was ready to come at his first touch. But again, in a deep voice Hal warned her, “You’d better keep tight control, or I’ll make that belt sing.”
Susan was panting. If he said one more word, she was going to come without so much as a touch. She was fighting to hold off as long as she could. She arched up to capture him as he hovered over her. He half turned her over and delivered several sharp spanks.
“Now, now, none of that,” he told her.
Susan thought she’d lost her fight for control as he gently sucked on one nipple and then the other. Sitting up, he caressed her body, her belly and her hips and thighs, never touching where she needed him the most.
Hal lowered his head and kissed her mons. He slid his tongue down and flicked it rapidly on her hardened bud. Giving in completely, Susan felt an orgasm like no other she’d ever experienced surge through her. She gushed as Hal continued his ministering with his tongue. She rode the wave higher and higher, beating her fists on the bed and bucking with abandon.
As Susan slowly came back to herself, the only thing she was aware of was her body. The time, the day, her name... were all in a vague space of not caring. She was his, was the only coherent thought floating through her mind.

More about PK Corey

After spending thirty-six years in two careers I liked just fine, I’ve finally found my dream career as a writer. I’ve been happily married for thirty-five-years and my sweet husband has gotten used to the unique experience of living with a writer. He is very encouraging and an excellent editor when he’s pressed into service.
I’ve been intrigued by spanking stories since before I first saw Ricky spank Lucy. Stories of this nature were hard to come by before the Internet and the ones I found were a little harsh on discipline and very much lacking in love. So, I made up my own stories and enjoyed these in my head for years. I finally began writing them down. Although the lovely women in my stories are spanked often, the love between them and their men takes top priority.
My Cassie’s Space series shows a mature couple who are deeply in love. Despite loving Cassie’s free-spirited ways, Tom is determined to keep her safe, even if it takes a trip over his knee. And with her friend Sue by her side and all they get into, a trip over his knee is very likely. My new series, Cal’s Law, is about a younger couple. Though they come from very different backgrounds, love and discipline draw them together.

Educating Jenny by PK Corey

I’m always excited when PK Corey releases a new book. I was on a road trip when Educating Jenny came out but I’ve bought it now and I’m looking forward to reading it.

Being married to an alpha male had its perks but having your ass in constant danger of being spanked was a drawback.

Blurb:

Cal’s young wife, Jenny, just wants to play house with her gorgeous, dominant husband, Sheriff Cal Bennett of Beaufort County. Cal wants her to complete one more year of college before choosing a path.  Although Jenny is tired of school, she bends to her husband’s wishes and goes off to classes in a nearby city.  On their precious days together, Cal educates his beautiful girl to the idea of sexual fantasies and bedroom toys, and here, Jenny is an eager student!

Jenny finds herself being stalked by a mysterious police officer who views every move she makes as criminal. Everyone she cares about knows that what ensues is not Jenny’s doing, but she can’t keep herself from giving in to some sweet revenge. Her plan starts out as a silly college girl prank, but soon lands her on the wrong side of Cal’s law.

Please note: Educating Jenny is a sweet romance that includes spankings, power exchange scenes, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Excerpt:

“I know you want to talk about this college thing some more. It’s stressing me out too. I’m willing to talk about it, but it might lead to a fight. So, let’s go to the bedroom for a little playtime to get us both in a good mood first. College can’t be mentioned until we come back in here, agree?”

Jenny watched Cal’s face break into a dazzling smile. “I agree. And woman, I like the way you handle stressful situations.”

“I think you’re going to like the way I handle lots of things,” Jenny assured him.

In the bedroom, Jenny began unbuttoning his shirt. The hardness of his body always impressed her and she slowly rubbed her hand over his six-pack. She undid his belt and lowered his zipper. Putting her hands inside his pants, she lowered his jeans and underwear continuing to push them down until she was on her knees.

“While I’m in the neighborhood,” she murmured. She put her mouth to his balls and gently sucked one into her mouth. Cal gasped with surprise and delight. She continued the treatment while gently stroking his erection. Jenny got to her feet. “Just a preview,” she told him, standing up.

Cal began undressing her. He loved this and he took his time. He loved every inch of her body, and many parts he chose to savor with both his eyes and his mouth. Now nude, Jenny stepped back. “On the bed,” she ordered him, “on your stomach.”

“Stomach?” he questioned.

Jen pointed and didn’t repeat herself. Cal lay down and immediately Jenny climbed over him, reaching for the lotion. “You need a good massage to get rid of all that stress,” she told him. She began smoothing the lotion into his neck and shoulders. Cal loved the feeling of her hands on him as she massaged his back then began on his legs. She worked her way up slowly and then, unable to resist, she landed a hard swat to his beautiful ass.

“Oww . . .” she cried out. “Damn, Cal, your ass is hard as a brick!”

Cal had turned to grab her wrist, “And you’re not supposed to spank it.” He laughed at her. “Here let me show you how it’s done.” He quickly pulled her across his lap and began with a few hard swats.

Cassie's Life by PK Corey

Today I’m looking at Cassie’s Life, (#10 in the Cassie’s Space series), a book I love. If you enjoy a story loaded with loving DD, humour, suspense, and romance, look no further. PK Corey delivers that and more in this contemporary novel.

Blurb:

Ask Cassie about her life on the river and she’ll tell you it’s lovely and peaceful. But while Cassie loves the life she lives, peaceful is not always an accurate description. Whether she’s confronting an armed man who’s in a drunken rage, planning a friend’s wedding or dealing with a ghost in a backwoods lodge, Cassie is going to deal with it the best way she knows how. And peaceful doesn’t always work.

When a mysterious phone call comes for Cassandra Wentworth – Cassie’s past is suddenly back to haunt her in a devastating way. Tom has always said nothing from before the time they met counts, but he didn’t know about this.  Sue, Annie, Allie and Jenny are all willing to help, but will it be enough?

Disclaimer: Cassie’s Life is a sweet romance for mature readers, 18 years and over. Scenes include spanking adult women in the context of loving relationships. If such content may offend you, please do not buy this book.

Excerpt:

I knew Tom would be in soon. Most people in situations of such stress have the option of fight or flight. Since the last time I’d run away from Tom I had given him my solemn word I wouldn’t run away from him again, my options were somewhat different – fight or submit. I didn’t want to fight with Tom, but to submit to a spanking…when I’d been the one to defuse the situation… I just wasn’t sure I could accept it.

Tom wasn’t long in following me. One look at his face told me he was a man on a mission and I could only assume that mission would keep me from sitting comfortably for a few days. I knew nothing I could say would change his mind. I might submit physically, but mentally, never. The look of cold fury I gave him as he began removing my clothes was not something he could misinterpret.

I was seething, as Tom undressed me completely – to make me stand before him nude before a spanking was nothing but a sheer power play and I felt he was doing it because of what that hateful Cal had said about listening to authority.

I felt anything but submissive, as I stood nude before him. I didn’t say anything. I was too angry. I waited to see if he would go for the brush or the leather paddle. The answer was neither – he came for me. Putting his hand on the back of my neck he pulled me into a kiss that I’ll remember longer than any spanking. I stood weak kneed from the kiss staring into Tom eyes as he hovered over me a moment before kissing me again as he ran his hands over my body.

I wasn’t even sure how I got on the bed, but Tom was still kissing me as he removed his clothes. We made love with a passion I’m sure most would believe should be reserved for the young. I don’t think I even remember the details, not that I’d share them, but I when I came back to myself I could barely move except to clutch tightly at Tom. Eventually I found my voice.

“I think I’m going to have to take up smoking.”

I heard Tom’s warm chuckle, “Don’t you think you stay in enough trouble without taking up more bad habits.”

“Honey, I have to tell you, if this is your new method of getting my attention when you’re upset with me, I’m behind you all the way.”

PK Corey in her own words:

The love of writing came to me late in life and I spent time trying to fit writing into a busy schedule. Recently I retired, the kids are out and on their own and my wonderful husband encourages me to spend more time exploring the world of writing.

I always hear you should write what you want to read, so I have. I write loving domestic discipline with the stress on ‘loving’. I want a strong man who cherishes the woman he loves and is willing to go to any length to keep her safe and protected.

My Cassie’s Space series shows a mature couple who are deeply in love. Despite loving Cassie’s free-spirited ways Tom is determination to keep her safe, even if it takes a trip over his knee. My new series, Cal’s Law, is about a younger couple. Though they come from very different backgrounds, love and discipline draw them together.

Becoming Family by PK Corey

If you like a contemporary story full of suspense, humor, discipline and sweet romance – look no further. Book 2 in PK Corey’s Cal’s Law Series is out now. Becoming Family is the story of a town sheriff and wealthy college girl whose love bridges the wide gaps in their social worlds.

She was planning to entertain him, but he was overdressed for what she had in mind.

Blurb: Against overwhelming odds, Jenny and Cal are together and happy. Their love is strong, but before they can become family Jenny needs to learn what that word means. Jenny has no background in the real meaning of "family" but when Cal wants her to meet his and get to know hers, she knows the time has come. The difference in the two families is wide and jarring. Jenny has a lot to learn, but then so does Cal. When he meets her family, he discovers that the word family doesn't always mean the same thing to all people.

Jenny’s mother has planned a future for her daughter that does not include someone as ordinary as Cal Bennet. What could this small-town hick with no money and no connections do for her? How far will her mother go to see that Jenny accepts a life of high society and prestige? Will these two lovers come to an understanding of what their family will look like?

Nothing in this book should be interpreted by Blushing Books’ or the author's advocating any non-consensual spanking or other sexual activity or the spanking of minors.

Excerpt:

“How about a striptease?”

“A striptease!” Jenny laughed. But with a shrug, she dug out her phone and found appropriate music.

Cal’s eyes widened as she began – damn, had she been practicing or something? Discarding her clothes in a most elegant and sensuous way, Cal wouldn’t have looked away for a million dollars.

Stopping with only her thong on Jenny crawled up on the bed and gave Cal a kiss that made him feel like he was about to embarrass himself. He quickly undressed before sitting back on the bed and leaning back against the headboard once more. Taking a deep breath, he pulled her across his lap, shifting a little to accommodate his erection.

“Stop it, what’s going on?” Jenny asked trying to pull away.

“Nothing,” Cal told her beginning to rub her ass. “I did tell you that you had a spanking coming for trying to talk me out of going to see the folks and giving me a very uncomfortable ride over there.”

“Cal, don’t you dare! You know I was teasing. You can’t spank me for that. Let me go!” Jenny told him angrily.

“Jenny honey, you need to see that there is nothing bad about most spankings.” Cal spanked her ass gently. “Some spankings are just for fun, some are to reconnect, some to release stress. They’re tons of reasons for me to spank this beautiful ass. And I think you’ll like most of them.”

Jenny was still tense but stopped struggling. “I don’t like being in this position, it’s embarrassing.”

“It’s beautiful,” Cal countered.

Questions and answers with PK Corey:

What is your writing environment?

I love to write in the mornings when I have the house to myself and it’s very quiet. We have a sun room that overlooks our pool and the small forest behind out house. I’m there most morning with my coffee, a fire if it’s cool, the windows opened if it’s warm. Add a cat or two and I’m ready to write.

What are you working on now and when can we expect it to be available?

I’m working on my latest Cassie book. I’m enjoying the writing process and I’m taking my time. I’ll soon be finished with the first draft, but it will be a while before it comes out. Hopefully it will be sometime late in 2017.

Where are you from?

I’m a true southerner. I live in the small town where I was born. I taught for twenty-eight years in my old high school, just down the street from the home where I grew up. All my characters are southern as well. Cassie and the gang as well as Cal and Jenny live in the town where my mother was raised and where I’ve loved visiting all my life.

When and why did you begin writing?

My Cassie character has been in my head for fifty years. I would justify all the time I spent day-dreaming by telling myself I’d write her stories as a book someday, but I never really believed it would happen. Then ten years ago I found blogs and some wonderful people who wrote spanking stories. I tried my hand at blogging and writing the stories Cassie had whispered in my ears all those years. The response was very encouraging. I finally made that old dream of writing books a reality.

Cal's Law by PK Corey

If you know PK Corey and her books, it won’t surprise you to learn that her latest, Cal’s Law, is getting great reviews. If the excerpt that follows here isn’t enough, you can read more on her blog here or by following the links from the Saturday Spankings blog.

He was too old for her, and she was too much of a spoiled little rich girl for him.

Blurb:

Jenny is the typical rich-kid, sorority girl. Getting good grades isn’t high on her priority list. In fact, that sits well below getting into the secret faction of her sorority. To do that she must pull off a daring bit of mischief.

Cal Bennett is the town sheriff. He’s a relatively young, no-nonsense, kind of guy – with a heart of gold. He is the moral center of this small town in North Carolina. But when his and Jenny’s paths cross unexpectedly, things get complicated and he questions his morals and his heart.

His plan to save Jenny from herself by enforcing strict discipline seems like a sound one.  To both of them. At first. He enacts a touch of martial law and Jenny agrees to learn more than English Lit. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry are but a few of her new subjects. Along with time-management, telling the truth and doing homework. Breaking any one in this new set of rules will result in a sound spanking. It all sounds simple enough when she signs on the dotted line of the contract between her and her sheriff.

But, life is messy and she is faced with one tough decision after another. She’s a college student! Shouldn’t life be easier than this? Less complicated? But she is pulled in two directions: her moral, upstanding sheriff leads her down one path, and a cute frat boy leads her down another. In one direction lies maturity, and a future. In the other, the simplicity of being a rich kid in college where Mommy and Daddy pay for everything. Now she must choose: Will she continue to let her parents pay for it all, or will she learn to pay the price for her own actions?

Publishers’ note: Cal’s Law is intended for adults only. Spanking and other sexual activities represented in this book are fantasies only, intended for adults. Nothing in this book should be interpreted as Blushing Books’ or the author’s advocating any non-consensual spanking activity or spanking of minors.

Excerpt:

Cal followed Jenny to her room silently. Jenny grabbed a few things before glancing back at him. “You looked pissed. Are you mad at me? I didn’t do anything.”

Ignoring her questions Cal said, “Just hurry.”

Jenny grabbed make-up and her toothbrush and crammed them in with the clothes, computer and cords she’d packed and quickly followed Cal out of the building. Still he remained silent and Jenny began to feel uncomfortable.

“Are you sure this place is going to have room for me this late?”

“She’ll have room,” Cal answered briefly.

What was wrong? Was this his work mode? Whatever it was she didn’t like this side of him. Quickly she blurted out, “If you’re mad at me tell me why. If you act like you’re pissed all the time you’re working, it’s no wonder everyone hates cops.”

Cal glared at her just before pulling up to a large clapboard house. “You didn’t tell me how bad it was. You never said you got in a fight this morning and slapped someone. When you said you wanted to move you never told me they were violent.” Cal’s voice got louder, “You never said that I was sending you back into a dangerous situation.”

“Don’t yell at me!” Jenny snapped back. “It wasn’t violent until tonight so don’t take that tone and try to blame me. You don’t need to get your panties in such a wad.”

Cal realized he was blaming the wrong person and his face showed it. “All right, I’m sorry. And I don’t wear panties,” he growled.

“Really?” Jenny grinned, “Me either sometimes.”

Jenny was happy to see a slight blush on Cal’s face before he exited the car.

Questions and answers with PK Corey:

1. When did writing become important to you?

I discovered spanking blogs just over ten years ago. They really caught my interest and they stirred a desire to write some of the stories that had long been in my head. I wrote my first story after I turned fifty.

2. Do you view writing as a career?

I’ve recently retired from teaching, so I can’t say I see writing as a true career yet, but it’s more important to me than just a hobby.

3. What puts you in the best mood to write?

I’m alone at home, fresh cup of coffee, turn on the gas logs, convince the cats to lay on my feet and not the keyboard and I’m ready to write.

4. You’ve written nine books in the Cassie series and this book begins a new series. What draws you to writing series.

I’ve been an avid reader since I was about ten. I’ve never put down a book I enjoyed without asking, ‘But then what happened?’ Now I get to do the writing and I can answer that question.  I really get into my characters and I want my readers to get to know them just as well. I like series to be able to show how the characters grow and develop and change over time.

5. Do you have any advice for other writers?

Not everyone will be able to use my first pieces of advice, but they are: Love your kids dearly, then get them grown and out of the house! Secondly, retire. Those two things have helped the most. After that I’d say make a time to write every day that you can. You may decide it’s awful and discard it, but write anyway – the next day you could be brilliant.

Cassie's Road Trip by PK Corey

PK Corey, a return visitor to this blog, still lives in the small southern town where she was born. As a child, she spent most of her spare time, and quite a bit of time when she should have been doing schoolwork, either reading or making up stories. She was actually quite young when Cassie wandered into her head and began telling her story. She’d always been drawn to spanking stories, but needed a true love story with it. That’s how she sees Cassie and Tom – a true love story with spanking thrown in.

This time we are looking at Cassie’s Road Trip from Blushing Books.

I was reaching for his zipper when his hands clamped on my wrists like vises, I gasped at the suddenness.

Blurb:

There's a girls’ trip in the works. All the girls have planned and plotted for months. Everything must work out just right for them to be able to talk the guys into this trip. All is on track until Allie, of all people, lands in hot water. Cassie and Sue do their best to help her out and keep the hope of the trip alive too.

Behaving is always a struggle for Cassie. She does try but, unfortunately, there are situations–completely beyond her control, at least in her eyes, that keep landing her on the wrong side of Tom’s spanking hand. As Cassie continues to end up in trouble, there are some interesting new friends, maybe a little rougher than Tom would want her associating with, who want to help her too.

Excerpt:

I didn’t see any way out, but I felt like he’d almost made me mad on purpose. I went into the bedroom debating with myself whether or not to take my clothes off. He knows how much I hate doing that when I’m about to get a serious spanking. I lingered at the mirror, staring at myself and wondering for the hundredth time how I kept getting myself into predicaments like this. I don’t set out to get myself in trouble, why does it always happen?

Catching sight of the ivory brush in the mirror I glared at it with hatred. Then closing my eyes, I turned away and began undressing. When Tom came in I was sitting on the bed hugging a pillow. I was still mad and trying my best to keep quiet and not make things worse. I saw Tom’s eye soften just a bit when he saw I’d done as he asked. I suppose he’d had his doubts.

Nonetheless he headed to the dresser and picked up the brush. Before he turned our eyes met in the mirror, it seemed that they were locked. I don’t really know what my expression was, but I was drinking in his. Slowly, Tom laid the brush back on the dresser and turned to me.

Very deliberately his hands fell to his belt buckle, I felt a clinching sensation throughout my entire body. It was as if a switch had been thrown. I felt no anger, I simply felt like I was his. Watching Tom remove his belt does things to me I’ll never understand or be able to explain. There’s a tinge of fear, I can’t deny that, but it triggers a longing and lust that overwhelms every other feeling.

Cassie Corralled by PK Corey

This week it is my privilege to introduce PK Corey, a small town southern writer. happily married to her best friend for over thirty years. With two grown children, the couple is learning to love the empty nest. Next year will see the end of a long and satisfying teaching career and PK is anxious to spend more time writing.

She didn't grow up with the desire to be a writer, but did love to daydream. As a child, she spent most of my spare time, and quite a bit of time when she should have been doing schoolwork, either reading or making up stories.

She was quite young when Cassie wandered into her head and began telling her stories. PK has always been drawn to spanking stories, but needs a little romance with it. That's how Cassie and Tom came to life, as a true love story with spanking thrown in.

Here is the lovely cover from her latest book, Cassie Corralled from Blushing Books.

Love and passion aren’t the soul property of the young. Wait until you meet Cassie and Tom.

Blurb:

Cassie is still living life to the fullest, telling Allie stories about everything from long ago shooting incidents to playing laser tag with the children. Tom keeps an amused, yet watchful eye, on his lovely wife. Excerpt

I could not believe what Tom was saying. “You will not!” I stormed. “I have done nothing wrong and you are not going to spank me and I don’t have to go anywhere against my will. Take me home. You can’t spank me for nothing.”

Tom made no comment and the ensuing silence was thick. We rode on without speaking for the near hour it took to reach the house. The company where Tom works now rents this house where we lived for seventeen years. Clients and visiting VIP’s stay here so it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, but I barely saw it as Tom took my hand and led me quickly to our old bedroom, a small overnight bag in his other hand.

I hate being spanked when Tom is truly upset with me – and he was. I hate it even more when I feel I’ve done nothing wrong. My overall success rate at getting out of a spanking once we’ve reached this point is probably less than a fraction of a percent – but I’m not one to go down without a fight.

“I don’t know what’s got your drawers wound so tight, but you have no business spanking me. I haven’t broken any of your silly rules. I haven’t lied to you about anything. I forgot to take a pill one day! That is nothing to spank me about. What’s wrong with you?

Tom said nothing so I went on, “Are you mad because I’ve been busy lately? I’ve had to take care of Sue and it’s December! Things are happening. I guess you’d rather me be chained in the house, but when you want to do something you can go anywhere, anytime. And this big, important party tonight – why are you so insistent on going? Who’s going to be there that you want to be with more than Annie and Andy?”

I hate to even repeat this next part, but you have to understand I was just mad and on a roll. “Have you found another woman?” I stormed. “You want to show her she doesn’t have to worry about your old hag of a wife?”

I saw it, the hurt on Tom’s face just before it turned to anger. I tried to save it, “Tom, I’m sorry,” I backpedaled. “You know I didn’t mean that. I just…”

“I think that’s a darn good place to start.” He pulled me to the bed and quickly and none too gently pulled down both my slacks and panties at the same time. He began spanking quickly with his hand, but not terribly hard. This wasn’t a good sign; he was actually giving a warm up which told me he was going to take his time.

Tell me about your latest release

Cassie Corralled is the eighth in the Cassie Space series. This book continues the adventures of a couple who actively practice domestic discipline and have through out their forty-year marriage. This was always the type story I loved – a husband who loves his wife more than anything else in his life, but doesn’t hesitate to put her over his knee for a sound spanking if she puts herself in danger or is less than truthful with him. Through it all the love story is first.

Are you like any of your heroines?

A definite yes and no. Sometimes I think I gave too much of myself to Cassie – she can be fiery and hot headed, she’s fearless and strong. Since Cassie comes from me I feel these are my traits too – but it’s only as I’ve gotten older I feel I’ve given myself permission to be more like Cassie.

How many books have you written? Are they all spanking fiction?

I’ve published eight in the Cassie’s Space series. They are all spanking fiction, it’s what I understand and enjoy writing.

Are you okay in your kink?

I’m not only okay, I’m proud. I’m a born spanko who, like so many of us, hid it most my life. Once I embraced it, when reached a point where I don’t have to hide my true self from anyone, I’ve been much happier. I don’t go out and preach it on the street corner, but I can certainly hold my own in a conversation where someone is calling it unnatural or abusive.

Do you have a specific writing style?

I need to see and hear what’s going on with my characters. My husband teases me about saying I’m going to go write and he sees me in the recliner with my eyes closed. He thinks I’m sleeping when I’m actually watching what’s happening and afterwards I just write what I saw (ok, sometimes I’m sleeping).

Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

Yes! Mostly that love and passion are not the soul property of the young. Getting older brings on challenges, but it doesn’t change your feelings about love, or sex or even your kink. And for all the twenty-something’s saying ‘ewww…’ there are more in their fifties, sixties, seventies and beyond saying ‘YES!’
