Stranded in his savage land, she must learn to trust. But first she must learn to obey.

When her village is struck by a terrible sickness, twenty-one-year-old orphan Takyu travels to the rough and tumble city of Klydoten to buy medicine. During her journey, however, she witnesses an incident which Sheriff Falcon Kingski must investigate. The stern, handsome lawman takes Takyu into his custody first for a humiliating interrogation and then for her own protection. She soon learns that defiance will earn her a sound spanking on her bare bottom.
The painful, embarrassing chastisement leaves Takyu sore yet intensely aroused, and it isn’t long before she has been claimed properly. Their bond grows stronger as they work together both to catch a dangerous fugitive and to uncover the cause of the illness ravaging her homeland, but when a secret Takyu has kept is exposed, her punishment will be as thorough as it is shameful.
Publisher’s Note: Bound to the Sheriff is a stand-alone novel which is the third entry in the Lighthouses of Devmaer series. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

Bound By Love - Tales from Devmaer

A reader asked me what happens with Xane and Jules (from Bound To The Admiral) after Kai and Gael set sail for Elsinania. Interesting question, I thought. So I wrote their story in this novella.

Blurb:
She’s supposed to be his ward but he’s treating her like a prisoner.
Stuck on a massive estate where she has no family or friends, Jules decides to unlock the Kedrant magic that is her heritage. Forbidden to do so, she must conceal the rituals that will liberate her heart and soul.
Major domo Xane has been trusted to safeguard her from her dangerous impulses. If she won’t listen to reason, then perhaps some old-fashioned discipline will teach her to obey.
While trying to tame Jules’s wild heart, Xane risks losing his.
Warning: Devmaer isn’t a world of political correctness. If you don’t like a spicy tale of a woman’s submission, please don’t read this story.

After years apart she still loves him, but will she submit to him?

Freja, rescued from the flesh markets of Silvelea at a young age, has learned firsthand how difficult life is for orphan girls on the planet of Devmaer. Her “rescue” landed her in the harsh world of Matron Cass Warren’s Girls Crib, where young girls are groomed to be sold off as mates to the highest bidder as soon as they reach maturity.
At eighteen Freja was drawn to Déak Ryba, the first man to ever show her kindness. But he didn’t stand a chance against Iwon Sándor’s money and power. Iwon claimed Freja’s hand, condemning her to a miserable life of abuse and neglect.
After three long-suffering years, Freja’s matehood was cut short by his untimely death.
For the first time in her life Freja finds herself free - free to work like a slave to repay the staggering debts Iwon left her. During her final ritual as his widow, a freak accident sweeps her out to sea and remarkably, right back into Déak’s arms.
Can the love that Déak and Freja once shared possibly have survived long years of separation? Will they finally claim the shared life that was denied them? Or will their happiness be stolen again by the sinister forces circling at the edge of their lives?
This novella is a prequel to The Lighthouses of Devmaer series and introduces the alien world of the planet Devmaer as well as some of the minor characters.
This standalone book has a satisfying ending and can be read on its own or as part of the series.

Disclaimer: Bound To The Past, is a second chance, fantasy-world romance. Along with a happily-ever after ending, it has some very steamy scenes, including elements of power exchange and discipline.
