Eyes blazing, she took a deep breath, angry.

“You son of a bit—” A hand clapped over her mouth, stopping her from saying more. Her eyes widened as she saw the face above hers.

“Enough. Both of you! Bart, one last time, this is not your house. Watch your mouth.” Then he spoke to Sadie, his voice no less harsh. “And you, you little vixen. Where did you learn that kind of language? Either you speak appropriately in my house, or you will answer to me.”
