Lifelong best friends, Tommy Marks and Ken Davidson know each other so well they’re an unstoppable team able to complement respective strengths while ironing out each other’s weaknesses. Neither man can imagine a life without the other, but they never expected to fall for the same women. College student, Trisha Harper is fascinated by the synergy between Ken and Tommy. She's attracted to both and unable or unwilling to decide which man she likes best.
As the trio prepares to ride out a hurricane together, Tommy and Ken make a gentleman’s agreement promising neither will make a move on Trisha. With the tropical cyclone raging outside and the electricity out, the stakes are high, and their pact might not withstand the eye of the storm. Both men teeter between desire and the fear of rejection and loss, but Trisha has no plans to break up the dynamic duo. For her, it’s all or nothing, and she’s determined to have Tommy and devour Ken too.
Disclaimer: Rock You Like a Hurricane is a male-female-male (MFM), sensuous romance. Themes include explicitly sexual situations. If such content might offend you, please do not buy this book

Excerpt
“Hey now! You’re going to mess up my luxurious locks.” Tommy ran a hand through his hair while smirking before he bent forward and snatch the pillow with one hand while gathering her up with his free arm. Trisha squirmed, resisting until Tommy pulled her into his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist. “Settle down now.” He nuzzled the side of her head.
Her chest tightened and her pussy sent shockwaves through her core. Tommy had hugged her before, but he had never held her close in such an intimate way. His hard chest supported her shoulder while his soft, yummy-smelling hair brushed against her neck and cheek. For some reason, he smelled like Ken tonight. She closed her eyes, breathing in his fragrance. Oh! Her eyes flickered open as his cock stirred beneath. He’s getting hard! Trisha’s breath caught in her throat, and she pursed her lips to repress a smile. As her eyelashes fluttered, she caught the expression on Ken’s face. Shit. He looks as if he’s been punched in the gut. Is he jealous? I can’t have these two fighting.
Scooting back into her seat, Trisha used both hands to shove Tommy away. “Unhand me, you troll!”
“Troll!” Tommy scrunched up his nose and twisted his lips.
“Well, when you make that face.” She pointed and laughed. “I saw a deck of cards over by the snacks. Let’s play poker.”
Tommy grinned and nodded. “Sure, but Ken will wipe the floor with us.”
Trisha shot a look Ken’s way, offering him a smile and a wink before awkwardly looking away while playing with her hair.
Ken stretched in his seat. “As much as I’d love to rake you two over the coals, we don’t have any chips.”
Well, here’s my opening. Hope my voice doesn’t crack. Trisha lifted her face, batting her lashes at him. “Who needs chips when we have clothes?

Q&A with Sierra Brave

What made you decide to re-publish the first book in the Triple Passion Play series?
Sierra: After the unfortunate passing of the owner of the publishing company, my rights to Rock You Like a Hurricane reverted to me. To keep the book available, I had to re-publish.

You made extensive revisions. Why?
Sierra: The characters in the Triple Passion Play series are some of my favorites which is probably why I wrote four books featuring them. The first book was published in 2016. When I was ready to re-publish, I took a fresh look at the story. Rock You Like a Hurricane was still a fun, sexy read, but in the past four years, I’ve learned a lot, and my writing style has changed. The voice no longer sounded like my own so I edited until the characters and story felt like they belonged to me again.

Were there any major changes in the plot?
Sierra: No. The bones and the heart of the story are the same. The timeframe covers less than forty-eight hours—Rock You Like a Hurricane is all about the catalyst for the deeper relationship developing between Ken, Tommy, and Trisha in the next three books.

Is Rock You Like a Hurricane a historical romance?
Sierra: Not really. I call it a retro erotic romance. I wrote book four, Triple Naughty Christmas, first before any of what became the first three books. My intended had been to write a stand-alone holiday romance about a seasoned poly relationship. Once my middle-aged trio began to come to life on the pages, I felt like a lot more of the story of Trisha, Tommy, and Ken deserved to be told. The beginning seemed like a great place to start. Book one is set in 1996 when the three MCs are still in college.

Why does Rock You Like a Hurricane feature so much world-building?
Sierra: I wanted to convey a sense of nostalgia for the mid-to-late 90s, but I spent a lot of energy setting the scene for a much larger reason. In order for older readers to be able to relate to the main characters, I needed them to feel as if they were stepping into the college coed/new adult mind frame. Tommy, Trisha, and Ken behave differently in book one than they do in book four because they’re not nearly as mature or confident yet. Navigating the early days of adulthood is a challenging time often filled with impulsive decisions and mixed-emotions of anxiety and excitement. I wanted my mature readers to remember those heart-pounding, fly-by-the-seat of your pants, but in some ways, much simpler days

Mistletoe in the City by Amber Daulton

There is a brand new author on the Never Ending Book Tour this week! Please welcome Amber Daulton who brings us her book, Mistletoe in the City, book 3 in the Handmade for Christmas series.
Krista treated herself to a bad boy for Christmas, but will the heat between her and Derek last well into the New Year?

NEBT.jpg

Blurb:
Krista Hartley never expected the unrequited love of her life, the irresistible Derek Weston, to work as the groundskeeper at the apartment building she just moved into. They barely spoke in high school but now, three years after graduation, they tore at each other’s clothes and jumped into bed together at every opportunity. After all, how could a hot-blooded woman say no to a sexy man with an eyebrow ring, a dragon tattoo and a deadly swagger?
A Christmas miracle drew Krista back into Derek’s life. He kissed her for the first time under mistletoe, pampered her with romantic candlelight dinners and memorized every inch of her delectable body with his tongue. He refused to let his dream girl slip through his fingers again but then another woman threatened their whirlwind romance. Hurt once before, Krista broke off their relationship and then Derek made a drunken mistake that could destroy their love forever. With just days to Christmas, he vowed to win back her heart and trust, and prove his innocence once and for all.
Disclaimer: This book is intended for mature readers. 18 and over only! Scenes include explicitly sexual situations. If such content may offend, please do not buy this book.

Excerpt:
Derek’s frown deepened. “I don’t mean to sound like a dick, but why are you so insecure? You’re a beautiful woman. Don’t you know that? Didn’t that idiot Clint tell you so every day?”
Tears welled in her eyes. No, he didn’t. Krista used all her willpower to not brush her hands across her face.
He gently grasped her chin. The sincerity in his smile and in the depths of his gorgeous ocean-blue eyes nearly unraveled the tight control she held over her emotions. “You could never disappoint me.” His fingers tightened on her chin as he lowered his mouth to hers. A sigh of relief left her lungs and then Derek moaned as though he’d swallowed her breath of air. She whimpered as he pulled back and retreated to the edge of the bed. He kicked off his boots and socks, jerked off his sweater and the thick muscles in his back and shoulders bulged with his quick movements.
Her eyes widened as he stood and turned around to face her. “Oh my God.”
Derek paused as he unbuckled his belt and arched his sexy pierced eyebrow. “Don’t tell me you’re disappointed.”
Krista shook her head. “God, no. Have you seen yourself? You’re definitely bigger than I remember. No doubt about it.” She crawled higher up the bed and fluffed a few pillows as an all-male grin spread across his whiskered face. “The tattoo is a surprise, though.”
He glanced down at the colorful dragon tattoo that curled around his left bicep. “I plan to get full sleeves eventually but tats are expensive.” He flexed his arm and the dragon doubled in size. “I’ve also thought about piercing my nipples.”
Her gaze dropped to his chest. “Go for it. You’re only young once.” She licked her lips. “What you already have is hot, but I’m sure more would make you ever hotter.”
He wiggled his eyebrows. “I’m happy you like it.” He stripped away his jeans and boxers and then gripped his thick penis in his palm. “Do you like this?”
She nodded, her words lodged in her throat. He grabbed his jeans, withdrew a condom from his wallet and ripped open the crinkly package with his teeth. She watched carefully, almost in awe, as he fit the latex snug over his shaft. Not innocent by a long shot, but not experienced either, Krista struggled to breathe as he pumped his cock and stared at her with downcast eyes. Derek returned to the bed, trailed his hand slowly up her leg and stroked the dark hair that protected her labia. She spread her knees and her eyes fluttered as he teased her clit with his fingers. She stretched her arms above her head to grasp the metal headboard and then arched her back as he dipped his face down to tongue her labia.

Getting to know Amber Daulton
Q: How did you become a writer?
A: I read my first romance book when I was 12 after I snuck a Harlequin paperback out of my mom’s bedroom. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and I wanted to create my own story about two people having an adventure and falling in love. I wrote with pencil in a spiral-bound notebook and finished that 200-plus page story in about six months.
I published my first book when I was 26, and now I have eleven published books under my belt. Ten or more manuscripts, however, are on my computer waiting to see the light of day.
Q: Do you have any advice for other writers?
A: Don’t put excessive demands, deadlines, and restrictions on yourself. Writing is difficult enough, and it’s only half of the work. I’m a plotter, not a panster, so I always recommend you plot out as much of the story as you can before you actually start writing it. By doing that, it’s easier to see plot holes, and you can avoid writing yourself into a corner later.
Handling rejections and bad reviews with finesse is a must, taking care of marketing and publicity demands is a handful but a requirement, and writing your next book while dealing with everything else is cause to bring out the vodka. But ‘tis the life of an author. You gotta love it, and I do with all my heart.
Just keep trying even when you’re feeling bad about yourself and the quality of your work. No one is perfect. Don’t rush a project; give it the love and attention it needs to be the best it can be. Both you as the writer, the book itself, and the readers deserve it.
Q: What was the hardest part of writing your book?
A: For every book I write, the hardest thing is deciding on character names. Now, that might not sound like a big deal, but the names have to fit with the characters I see in my mind perfectly. I feel stumped and lose my creativity if I assign a name to someone that just doesn’t feel right. I usually choose the names based on their personality, physical characteristics, family dynamics/heritage, the time period of the novel, or just what I find sexy! I sometimes spend hours, if not days, just scouring through baby name books and websites for the best names.
Q: What are your current projects?
A: The second installment in the Arresting Onyx series should hopefully be out in late 2020. Arresting Jeremiah follows hardnosed parole officer Jim Borden and his obsession Calista Barlow as they stick their noses where they don’t belong and fall deep into the trouble with the criminal organization known as Onyx.
I’m currently revising book three, Arresting Benjamin, which should hopefully be released in 2021 or later.
This sexy, dirty-talking romantic suspense series spans five books with a standalone HEA for each rough-and-tumble hero and their spunky heroines. The first book, Arresting Mason, is already published.

The Gift by Daryl Devore

Daryl Devore is my guest from the Never Ending Blog Tour today. She has a re-release of one of her books, previously published under her pen name Victoria Adams. In her words:

“The Gift is my latest re-release. It‘s an whimsical episodic novella that was the final result of a flash fiction period I went through. I can be a bit long winded. I needed to learn to cut my word count. I joined a group that wrote a weekly story that was based on a limited number of 1,000 words and had to include some of the offered prompts. Some were words – extinct, a piece of paper with a single line on it, or the twelfth of never. Others were pictures – a red tulip, blue DNA or a kiss.
I realized this story was written similarly to stories that were printed weekly in the newspapers of old. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle presented Hounds of the Baskerville this way – with weekly installments. Brilliant idea.
The newspaper sales that would generate as people got into the story. So instead of adjusting to fit the story to more modern thinking, I left it in the episodic form.
There are elements of mystery, playfulness and romance which tie up at the very end. But I did leave a deliberate hole for the readers to fill. If you read the story and wish to discuss with me what you think was on the ground – daryl.devore@yhoo.ca or @daryldevore.”

~ a sweet whimsical romance with a touch of mystery ~

Blurb:
Darcy O'Calahann, a junior gardener from a small mid-western town, is trying to make her way in the big city. After a stranger asks a mysterious question, Darcy finds a red tulip inside her locked gardening shed.
Shamus McTavis is a wealthy bachelor with a mysterious family past. But more surprising is his resemblance to the stranger who offered her the red tulip.
Are Darcy's eyes playing tricks on her? Is she losing her mind? Or is there really a red tulip trying to link Shamus and her together?

Excerpt:
"When was the last time you were offered the gift of a red tulip?"
I turned to see who spoke while I wondered if he was addressing me. A man sat on a park bench, dressed in a dark suit, with a bowler hat, holding a cane and his head bowed. I shifted to continue along the path,  and when his face lifted I found myself gaping at two glowing green eyes.
"When was the last time you were offered the gift of a red tulip?"I blinked, trying to look away from those mesmerizing orbs. A mixture of fear and intrigue fluttered in my belly. "Uh, never. I mean, no one has ever offered me a tulip." "A red tulip."
"Okay, no one has ever offered me a red tulip." Uneasiness slithered through me. "Nice chatting with you."
Smiling, I scurried down the path leading away from the park bench and towards the gardener's shed. With Jacobs being sick today, I had to hurry to get the last of the flower beds cleaned and prepared for spring plantings. The past winter had been bitter. It seemed tree branches and mouse damage wreaked havoc on every one of the one hundred and sixteen different flowerbeds.
I slipped my key into the lock, opened the shed door, stepped inside and shut it behind me. The fragrance of old wood, potting soil and gas fumes brought a tickle to the back of my throat. Closing my eyes, I allowed myself a moment to indulge in the beauty of his eyes. Emerald green. As brilliant as the gems locked among the diamonds at Tiffany's. Not that I shop there. Couldn't possibly afford anything on a junior gardener's salary, but I do fantasize when wandering the aisles.
What would it be like to be with a man like that? For those few moments in his presence, I was unable to think. My breath caught in my lungs. My palms were slick with beads of sweat. I shook my head, opened my eyes, and tugged the ever-present hair tie off my wrist. "Get over yourself, Darcy. A man like that wants a supermodel who can slink around on eight-inch heels. Not someone who digs in the dirt all day."
