#SatSpanks - Naked submission

Today I’m sharing an excerpt from my shiny new novel, Sadie Says I Do, (Simon in Charge series book 3) It can be read as part of the series or as a standalone book.

In this scene, Sadie is about to be spanked for three major offences. She’s hoping to get off lightly by walking into his office naked but I don’t like her chances:

I hoped to disarm him just a little so I tiptoed into his office, the water from my shower still beading on my skin. When he looked up at me, his pupils dilated. I bit back a giggle of triumph and lowered my eyes so he couldn’t see the victory in them.

He pointed and I walked to the bedroom in front of him, dragging my feet ever so slightly. He sat in the armchair by the window. We were on the top floor of the tallest building around so no one could see in. Yet standing in front of that open door to the patio made shyness creep over me.

“Close it.” He nodded at the door with his uncanny way of knowing what was worrying me.

“And the curtains?” I asked hopefully.

“No. No one can see us but I don’t want anyone to hear the unmistakable sounds of a naughty girl having her bottom warmed.”

#SatSpanks - the penalty for defiance

Thank you for visiting my website.

My shiny new novel, Sadie Says I Do, (#3 in the Simon in Charge series) from Blushing Books is now available! Better still it’s on sale for a limited time for only $2.99.

You can read it as part of the series or as a standalone book.

Simon is still helping Sadie heed him more. So far, she seems to have a long learning curve:

“It seems that defiance needs to be spanked out of you and obviously I’m not doing a good enough job.”

He didn’t wait for an answer, just started again. Smack smack smack. Time stood still. Tears burned my eyes but didn’t flow. It wasn’t the worse he could do but in case he planned to escalate, I moaned and begged. “Please no more! Twenty-one. Ow! Please. Twenty-two.”

At twenty-five he stopped. “We will come back to this subject at some later date, I’m sure.”

Lying there, I gasped for breath as he rubbed my burning backside.

“I don’t want anyone to hear the unmistakable sounds of a naughty girl having her bottom warmed.”

At those humiliating words, warm dampness rose between my legs. I stepped quickly and closed the window, determined not to give Simon more cause to spank me. His stern face said he had enough reasons already.

Blurbs:

The Outlaw’s Bride by Renee Rose

A spitfire rancher.  The dominant outlaw who takes her in hand.

Stranded in the west, Mabelle's been managing her dead sister's ranch alone for three months. The last thing she needs is the Curly James Gang pushing her around. She fights back, and finds herself over an outlaw's knee.

She wants to hate the good-looking outlaw, but he seems to have her best interest at heart and even risks his life to protect her from the rest of the gang. Still, a quick-to-spank outlaw with a bounty on his head isn't the sort of man for her. Or is he?

Mail Order Switch by Patty Devlin

Liz will do anything to get away from her evil guardian, and she was prepared to disguise herself as a boy and look for work as a ranch hand. When Caroline, a stranger on the train next to her, sees through her "boy" disguise, and begs her to take her place as a mail-order bride, Liz doesn't hesitate long before saying yes. It's got to be easier than working on a ranch, and as a married woman with a new name, she'll be out of her guardian's clutches forever.

Wade Malone has been looking forward to his new bride for months, but when "Caroline" finally arrives, things don't exactly add up. For one, "Caroline" was supposed to be twenty-five years old; the woman who came off the train doesn't look a day above sixteen. He has a strong aversion to liars, particularly in a wife. But he's also a man who keeps his promises and whoever the woman is at his side, he's made a commitment.

The Lawman by Vanessa Vale

Ellen Oldsmere, becomes a mail order bride for a complete stranger in the Montana Territory, fleeing Minneapolis. Her new husband is all that she'd imagined: handsome, virile and sexually skilled. But he's also the town sheriff and would surely arrest her if he found out her secret.

Ryder Graves is determined to find a bride of his choosing, wanting more than what is available in town. When Eleanor arrives, she meets all of his expectations, but not all she seems. Will he still want her when he learns the truth, or will his passion for the law make her face the consequences of her actions?

Rocky Mountain Rose by Lee Savino

A cowboy with a broken heart. A dancing girl who’s sworn off men. Love blooms in the hardest hearts in the Wild West.

Feisty and independent, Rose is a dancing girl in the Wild West. When an evil brothel owner tries to claim her, it’s up to Lyle Wilder to rescue the jaded redhead. Lyle vows to protect Rose, even if he has to drag her kicking and screaming to safety. His firm discipline keeps his wild rose from danger, but can he convince her to let love grow?

Life After Rachel by Maren Smith

There weren't many folks who'd equate an Indian war party to a miracle, but Reverend John White did. He believed in miracles; it went with the job. But this particular miracle...well, it was a doozy and her name was Ane, the only surviving member of a doomed westward-bound wagon train.

In the span of a single day, the young Norwegian woman had lost her entire family, her husband, even her infant daughter. Having been in America for less than a month, she couldn’t even speak her rescuers’ language, but the Lord worked in mysterious ways and necessity had a way of making itself clear no matter what the obstacles.

So off Ane went, to a hardscrabble farm a few miles out of Redemption to care for the baby who needed her to survive and for the heart-broken man who, fight it though he tried, needed her even more.

Excerpts:

The Outlaw’s Bride by Renee Rose

“Never wield a weapon you are unwilling to use,” he gritted, applying five smacks to the same exact place on one side, then moving to the other. “I nearly shot you before I realized who you were.” He paid special attention to the crease where her bottom met thigh, which she knew would make it difficult to sit later.

Somewhere in the confusion of managing the onslaught of stinging smacks, his words sank in and surprised her. He punished her not for trying to kill him, but for endangering herself?

“If you can’t pull the trigger, don’t even handle the weapon, do you understand me?”

“Yes!” she gasped.

“Yes, sir,” he corrected with an extra hard smack.

Yes, sir!”

He continued to pepper her entire bottom with spanks, the small surface area of the spoon traversing every inch of one cheek, then the other, then back to the first, until she panted from the burn.

He slowed down. “Do you even know how to fire a gun?”

“Not exactly,” she gasped.

He sighed and placed the spoon across the backs of her legs, running his calloused hand over her swollen buttocks. The roughness of his palm stung her sensitive skin, but even so, she relished the gesture, hoping it signaled an end to her chastisement.

“I am sorry,” she offered.

He brought his open palm down with a sharp slap. “You had better be.” His hand rubbed a circle over her heated flesh. Her heart pounded, though not from fear. The heat from her bottom seemed to travel between her legs as well, warming her most intimate area. She squirmed on his lap.

He must have taken her squirm as discomfort, because he lifted her to stand. Even in darkness, she did not want him to see her face, too humiliated by the punishment. When he pulled her to sit on his lap, she lurched off to escape.

He pulled her back and held her between his knees, his hands gripping and kneading her punished bottom. “You can sit here on my lap and we can talk, or you can go stand in the corner before you take another round over my knee. Which is it?”

Her bottom throbbed at the threat and her face burned with embarrassment. In fact, heat pulsed through her entire core at his words.

“Will there be a second round, regardless?” she asked.

One corner of his mouth tugged upward in a smile. “Depends on how our talk goes.”

Mail Order Switch by Patty Devlin

“I don’t take kindly to liars. I told you I am an honest man. How can I trust you to be a good mama to my children if you will lie to me? And just what else have you lied about?”

“Stop, stop the wagon. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have come; you can just take me back to town. I understand if you don’t wa—” She dashed away the tears that were falling heavily, but it was no use. There were just too many.

“It’s too late for that. I am not happy with you right now, but we’ll talk—”

“I don’t want to do this; just take me back to town please. I shouldn’t have come, I’m really sorry I lied.” Her throat hurt from swallowing back tears. She was shocked and a little outraged a moment later when she heard Wade’s deep chuckle.

“I don’t work like that. We’re married now and we are both just going to have to deal with it. I am not happy to have a liar for a wife, but I know how to take care of that problem. I can assure you—you will not dare lie to me or anyone else again.” Those eyes went from narrowed to having one eyebrow arched high above the other.

Whatever he was insinuating made Liz squirm. This was exactly what she didn’t want to happen. If he didn’t like her, why wouldn’t he just let her go? He must be just like Uncle Rupert. She had to get away.

Without another thought or a plan, Liz jumped from the moving wagon. She hit the embankment on the side of the road and pain shot through her ankle and up her leg before she fell to her side and rolled. It took her a moment or two to orient herself when she came to a halt. She crawled to her knees and looked to the wagon that had already stopped. Wade swung down and was marching toward her. She climbed to her feet to stand. She needed to run, but when she put pressure on her right ankle, screaming pain ripped through her foot and lower leg.

“Are you hurt?” Wade demanded as his long legs ate up the distance between them. So much for an escape.

“No, I’m fine,” she lied. “I’m going to walk back to town. You are free to go on, to uh— find a better wife.”

“No, I’m just going to show you right now how it’s going to be. Come here.” He grabbed her arm, thankfully her right, and she was able to hobble with him as he dragged her to a fallen tree. He sat down and before she knew what had happened, she was bottom over top, across his lap, looking down at a line of ants. They were moving from a small mound of loose sand to a hole under the log.

“What are you doing? No! You let me go!”

One jarring swat fell on her seat and then another. She pushed against his legs, trying to sit up and twist. She had to get away! He pressed his free arm against her back, his strength against hers, and she had to lie back down. The swats kept falling, one cheek and then the other, building an intense amount of heat on her seat.

“You... you... you let me go,” she tried again.

“This is what is going to happen when you lie to me, little missy. I call the shots, you got that? No? Well, you will. I’m not making a good impression on you, am I?” He stopped swatting momentarily and Liz struggled, thinking maybe she could get away. But, no—he locked his leg over hers and lifted her skirt.

Patty Devlin, in her own word:

“I have always loved to write, and daydream, of course. It just comes naturally to me. I love to read. I devour books. Sadly, I had a hard time finding the good books, the ones that had sexy, dominant men in them. The ones where the men weren't afraid to spank a girl if she deserved a few well-earned swats. The books that had those scenes were very few and far between.

My books are romance and they are fun and naughty but you won't find any full sex scenes. (Just enough teasers). However, there are plenty of spankings all the way through and tons of plot to keep you turning the pages.”

Saturday Spankings - Anticipation

Thank you for visiting my website and reading this short excerpt from my novel Winning Sadie, published by Blushing Books.

Sometimes anticipating a spanking can be the worst part. It’s been a long, slow walk to the bedroom and Sadie has dragged her feet the whole way there. Simon has told her to fetch the hairbrush:

He put his hand out for the hairbrush.

“Sit.” He motioned to the stool.

I frowned, not understanding.

“Sit on the stool, back to me.”

“Clothes on?”

“Clothes on.” He nodded, his face expressionless.

I sat between his legs, my head barely reaching his waist.

“Keep your hands in your lap,” he instructed.

I folded them together like a birds’ nest and reminded myself to breathe. In the next moment, he started brushing my hair. He wasn’t going to spank me.

The Cardinal's Whores by Adrienne Blake

I’m intrigued by the latest book from Adrienne Blake and Blushing Books. The Cardinal’s Whores is set in Tudor England, in the time of Henry the Eight and promises to be a rollicking good romp.

First he loved her - then he betrayed her.

Blurb:

Blackmail, betrayal, and bedroom lust are standard fare in the court of Henry the Eighth. Joan Larke has heard all her young life that this is so, but she is completely unprepared to be dragged into the midst of it. Dragged she is, though, when the beautiful girl falls into the hands of the powerful and power hungry Thomas Wolsey, cardinal, confidant, and finally lord chamberlain to the king.

Wolsey knows how many secrets are passed in the bedchamber, and shamelessly enlists any woman who comes within his influence as his spy. He turns her, under duress, into a whore who brings him information from her pillow talk with the movers and shakers of the early 16th century. But he needs love, too, and he keeps Joan to himself—for a time.

When Joan finds herself no longer wanted and in peril of spending the rest of her life in a nunnery, she turns to Lady Anne Boleyn, who is rapidly supplanting Queen Catherine in Henry’s affections. But treachery is a two-edged sword, and the betrayer often becomes the betrayed in the shadowy world of Tudor court intrigue.

Although Joan has secrets of her own she can trade, in the end, she can do nothing but watch and tremble as the cardinal and the would-be queen battle behind the scenes for the love of their king, and to keep from winding up under the axe, as so many did in those dark days.

Please note: spankings and other sexual activities represented in The Cardinal’s Whores are fantasies and intended for adults only. Strong stuff but worth it. If this offends you, please do not read this book.

Excerpt:

"Love. How easily you speak the word. Yet you hardly know me."

"I know what I must. Mistress Larke, when we talk of good opinion, do you think so lowly that I would choose to lie with any woman? I, Thomas Wolsey, who have sworn myself to chastity? Believe me, madam, it has not been without careful consideration that I offer myself thus to you. My dignity demands that I consider pairing myself with a woman of the gentle classes. To mate with any other would be untenable."

She sneered. "And you talk of love."

"Love will come. Mine is a constant nature. Give yourself to me and I will prove this to you."

Joan took a sip of wine, though mainly because she needed to hide her eyes from his penetrating gaze. She must think. Her brother was the ambitious one. Not she. And what is all this fine talk to me? And yet I could never be happy in a nondescript, provincial marriage. I would long for something finer, something deeper. Perhaps her brother was not the only ambitious one after all. She looked boldly at the almoner who watched her intently. Could she love him? "And what if you tire of me? What then? Am I to be cast aside with who knows however many bastard children by you, clinging to my skirts? What then?"

Wolsey reflected. "I will not cast you aside. But to ease your mind I will set aside enough wealth that you need never concern yourself on that score." He looked hopeful. Her questions must have encouraged him.

“I may yet say no."

"But I trust that you shall not."

Excerpt (PG)

“I don’t want to eat. Can you just tell me what you have to say? Do you have a plan to get my job back?”

Pax scoffed at her. It was actually a full on laugh. “No. Once Jason makes up his mind about something, it’s done. There’s no going back. Man’s as stubborn as a pack mule. At least when it comes to business decisions,” he added as an afterthought.

“Oh.” Diamond frowned, and picked up a piece of toast, nervously ripping the crust into tiny pieces.

“I need a new girl. We need some fresh meat to keep up interest and provide regular… entertainment.”

Her eyes blazed, and she dropped her toast, suppressing the urge to pick up her steaming hot coffee and throw it in his face. “I am not a whore! And furthermore, I’m not desperate. I have options you know, plenty of them.” She actually only had one that she knew of, but he didn’t need to know that.

Pax stood, towering over her. He looked about as angry as she felt.  “What are you talking about? Nobody called you a whore or even insinuated as much. You need to chill, girl. You might still be a little bit drunk or something, because you are making zero sense.”

“Oh yeah? Pax’s girls? Ring a bell? Isn’t that basically what you just asked me to be?”

His eyebrows crinkled high into his forehead, and he frowned. “Well, yes. But it doesn’t mean what you seem to think it means. I don’t think we’re on quite the same page here.”

“Oh, really? Enlighten me then.”

“Only if you dial back the attitude.”

“Fine.” It was her turn to cross her arms. She copied his stance from earlier and looked at him crossly. “I’m listening.”

“Rojo, if you didn’t know is a mild BDSM club with a focus on spanking. My girls dance the same as you did here. They don’t do anything else, other than serve the customers drinks and keep them happy and comfortable—and no, that doesn’t mean what you seem to think it means. The only difference is, well for one thing, I take care of my girls. Comped rooms, paid meals, monthly allowance, health insurance, all that jazz. I also pay better than Jason, but don’t tell him I said that. My girls also follow my rules. They keep a curfew, they eat healthy, they work out, and they show up on time. I keep them on a short leash. I want them in tip-top shape at all time. The kind of stunt you pulled last night would not be tolerated.”

“Right I get it. You’d toss me out on my ass—just like Jason is.”

“No. My girls mess up—they deal with the consequences. If you had been mine last night—and that was a regular occurrence—yeah, I’d get rid of you. You’d be a liability, and I’d have no choice. But unlike Jason, I pay attention to things like extenuating circumstances, and according to the things I learned from your file, coupled with the things I saw in yesterday’s paper—for you, last night certainly qualified as such.”

Pax was making it really hard to hate him the way she wanted to, and she kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. She couldn’t get past the idea that she was missing something. Something important.

“Thank you.” She was thankful for the kindness he was showing her, and the care he had apparently shown last night. “So, are you offering me a job?”

“On one condition.”

She stayed silent, waiting for him to continue.

“You’re tomorrow night’s entertainment. And that means, you accept the consequences for your mistakes last night. On stage. In front of a crowd.”

Rayanna Jamison in her own words:

Writing has been a passion of mine since I was 9 years old, and I always dreamed of becoming an author, but life happens and sometimes that first step seems like a giant leap. I credit a life changing move from the Oregon to Utah in the fall of 2013 as the catalyst that began my writing career.

I now reside in Southern Utah with my husband, my two children, two dogs, my mother, my 90 year old grandfather and a lizard named Leo.

I write what I love to read, which is fun romantic stories about submission in its many forms, and often joke that my stories get slightly dirtier with each one I write. When I am not writing, I enjoy my passions, which include cooking, drinking good coffee and good wine, shopping for crazy knee socks, celebrating with sushi for every occasion, and most of all spending time with my friends and family.

Saturday Spankings - Say Please

Thank you for visiting my website and reading this short excerpt from novel Winning Sadie, published by Blushing Books.

Sadie has deliberately and willfully disobeyed Simon. Part of her punishment is having to ask him for a spanking. She’s already asked for one spanking a few days earlier because she wanted to explore the erotic element of DD. However, today's spanking is much worse. And it hasn’t even started yet:

He walked back to my chair and rested his hands on my shoulders. “Do you have anything you want to ask me?”

His hands were warm on my skin. I thought about those long, square-tipped fingers, fingers that could make me dissolve in ecstasy or bounce in pain.

“I do,” I said, having thought about this moment for the past two days. I choked down the bitter lump in my throat. “Will you please spank me?”

[…]

“I will.” His voice was husky and he kissed the top of my head.

Saturday Spankings - No fair clause

Thank you for visiting my website and reading this short excerpt from novel Winning Sadie, published by Blushing Books.

Sadie should have checked her contract more carefully before she signed it:

Without any further comment, without any more questions about whether or not I knew what I’d done wrong that afternoon, he continued to blister my bottom.

“This isn’t fair!” I cried out at one point.

[Simon] stopped. “I beg your pardon?”

“I said this isn’t fair. I asked you to spank me so there should be some clemency.”

“Fair? Did someone put a fair clause in your contract by mistake?”

Excerpt

“Yes, I guess you would. So you really don’t think there’s a father?”

“Obviously there’s a father, just not one who’s in the picture. The general consensus is that Destiny got pregnant in the summer after high school,” she said. “Destiny hadn’t been back here for years and then when her parents died and she inherited the house and quite a bit of money I’m told, then she moved back, with Sophia.”

Justin’s ears started to ring and he felt like he was having trouble breathing.

“Are you okay?” Candice asked, her face etched with worry.

“I’m fine,” he said. “Dry throat, I just need a mint.” He clicked open the tin and offered her one before popping one in his own mouth. Justin needed the distraction, he wasn’t fine, he was about to have a heart attack. No, he wasn’t about to have a heart attack— maybe a stroke? He could not feel anything but the pounding in his head. Was there really a chance that Sophia was his child? Why would Destiny lie to him like that? It didn’t make sense. “Thank you, Candace, you’ve been a great help,” Justin managed to get out. “I think I can take it from here.” He had no idea where he was going to take this. There was a possibility that he’d had another daughter for the last nine years. Nine years? What had Destiny been thinking to keep this from him? If, in fact, she had kept this from him. Things weren’t always what they seemed. Maybe she was hiding out from the father or too embarrassed to say that she had been left on her own to raise a child. If nothing else though, they had once been in a relationship. She should trust him enough with the truth. The only reason he could think of that she wouldn’t trust him was if Sophia was in fact his child. It was the only scenario that made sense in a nonsensical way. Whichever way he looked at this Destiny was hiding something big. He needed to get to the bottom of this and the only way to do that was to get back over to her house and demand some answers. If Destiny had kept his child from him, her worry won’t be trouble from the state about the homeschooling; homeschooling would be totally out.
