Thank you for joining me for more adventures in Simon and Sadie’s world of power exchange, discipline, and romance. Today’s excerpt is from Simon Says, book 1 in the Simon in Charge series.

Simon and Sadie have just had their first dinner date. It’s a snowy New Year’s Day. In the course of one short meal, Sadie has already managed to earn her first spanking (abridged):

"How long will this take?" I asked.

"Until I am satisfied that you regret being so badly behaved," Simon said.

"I regret it already."

"Perhaps. But not enough for my satisfaction and definitely not as much as you are going to. By the way, the longer you take, the longer your spanking will be."

I scrambled to slide my panties around my knees and climbed over his lap with a total lack of grace. He moved his legs and adjusted my panties so it felt like they hobbled me.

He locked my two hands with his left and lightly swatted my upturned bottom. Well what was all the fuss about? I could take that for hours.

Today is the release of the Simon in Charge box set from me and Blushing Books. It includes the three books in the Simon in Charge series: Simon Says, Winning Sadie, and Sadie Says I Do.

To celebrate the occasion, I’ve been rereading the start of the adventure, Simon Say. It’s Simon and Sadie’s first date.

"Try this." My date handed me his fork with a lump of Brussels sprouts speared on the end.

“Good girl,” Simon said coming up behind me. I wanted to ask who was at the door but didn’t dare. When he laid the hairbrush and thick wooden ruler on the desk in front of me, I moaned in resignation.

“Now let’s get back to work. First of all, why are you here?” He held the back of the hairbrush to my mouth and I kissed it, as he expected me to.

[Next] he touched my bottom lightly with the wide ruler, something he’d found in an antique store in England.

Distracted by the sensation of the wood tapping my backside, I shook my head. Days had passed and I’d forgotten the nuances of my misbehavior.

“The easiest reason of all,” he said.

“Because you love me?”

“Correct. Count that as reason one, two, and three. Reason four is your Sirens’ Night, which maybe we should call your night of shame. What do you think would be a suitable penalty for those hours of indiscretion?”

Another Saturday and another Saturday Spankings blog hop – thanks for joining us! Today’s excerpt is from Sadie Says I Do where Sadie has been left alone in Simon’s office, bent over his desk, while he answers the door.

Silence descended on the house and I rested my forehead on the back of my hands and stretched my legs quickly. Knowing that Simon walked as silently as a cat in his deerskin moccasins I didn’t dare break my position for any longer. I tried to calculate how long it took to walk from the front door to the office. Surely he should be back by now. I strained my ears and caught a faraway murmur of conversation but it quickly disappeared. The concrete walls made effective soundproofing.

Other than those few short moves, I stayed in position, not wanting to challenge Simon with further disobedience. I recited poetry in my head, tried to remember my favorite movie plots, thought of the recipes we were making for the family dinner the next night. I tried to think of anything other than the hiding I was about to get but nothing worked. Caught in the dark limbo of waiting for a spanking, my thoughts kept coming back to the roasting I had earned.

Another Saturday and another Saturday Spankings blog hop – thanks for joining us! Today’s excerpt is from Sadie Says I Do where Sadie's misbehavior has caused her to lose her engagement ring. That’s not all, of course. This is Sadie we’re talking about.

Still, she’s anxious about a lot of things, including their new house and upcoming wedding. Simon has postponed her punishment for now but sees how tense she is:

“I think I have something that will relax you,” he said, his voice teasing.

“What?” I asked, trying to pull away.

He held on tight and lifted my left hand. “I keep looking at your empty ring finger.”

A hot tide of guilt burned up my neck. I couldn’t claim innocence this time.

“I’m going to give you a gentle taste of what is to come later this week, earned by your disobedience over the weekend.” Simon motioned me to assume the position

“But aren’t my self-inflicted injuries enough for now?” I arranged myself in angle across his lap, my chest resting on the bed, arms stretched out in front of me. I wasn’t brave enough to risk penalty strokes for not complying.

“Think of this as starting to pay down your spanking debt, which is considerable at this time.”

He looked at me with tired eyes. “I love you too, even when you act as irresponsibly as a child and need a sound spanking.”

Merry Christmas Eve! Welcome to my Saturday Spankings blog where naughty women pay their dues. Today’s excerpt is from Sadie Says I Do.

In this scene, Sadie is being reminded of Simon’s love.

Happy holidays everyone! Welcome to my excerpt for the Saturday Spankings blog where naughty Sadie is about to pay her dues. This is from Sadie Says I Do.

As usual Sadie is full of sass. Simon has just listed her misbehaviors:

Today I’m sharing an excerpt from my shiny new novel, Sadie Says I Do, (Simon in Charge series book 3) It can be read as part of the series or as a standalone book.

In this scene, Sadie is about to be spanked for three major offences. She’s hoping to get off lightly by walking into his office naked but I don’t like her chances:

I hoped to disarm him just a little so I tiptoed into his office, the water from my shower still beading on my skin. When he looked up at me, his pupils dilated. I bit back a giggle of triumph and lowered my eyes so he couldn’t see the victory in them.

He pointed and I walked to the bedroom in front of him, dragging my feet ever so slightly. He sat in the armchair by the window. We were on the top floor of the tallest building around so no one could see in. Yet standing in front of that open door to the patio made shyness creep over me.

“Close it.” He nodded at the door with his uncanny way of knowing what was worrying me.

“And the curtains?” I asked hopefully.

“No. No one can see us but I don’t want anyone to hear the unmistakable sounds of a naughty girl having her bottom warmed.”
