Saving Jessie, Safe and Secure book 2, by Alyssa Bailey

The incomparable Alyssa Bailey is here today with Saving Jessie, book 2 in the Safe and Secure series.

Protecting her past will destroy her future.

Blurb:
Accountant Jessica Roe kept her head down and always followed the rules. When she discovered possible illegal activity with her employer, she left that job and joined Reynaud and Associates. Life was good, her brother hadn’t asked for money in months and she was now dating Mark Jensen. Within one week: her brother needed money, her old employer was trying to blackmail her, and she was nearly raped and killed. Not only is her savings at risk, but her relationship with Mark, her job with Reynaud and Associates, her friends, and her life. |
Mark Jensen worked hard and played harder, preferring one-night stands to anything long term, until he hooked up with the company accountant. Jessie is a sassy, sweet, rule follower with a deep-seated loneliness about her that is unlike any woman he’s dated. She has stolen his heart. Just when Mark had finally convinced Jessie to move in with him, her brother has more than money problems to lay at his sister’s door. Suddenly, Jessie is over her head and making all the wrong decisions while trying to protect her new friends, brother, and lover.
When Jessie’s past and present puts her in the middle of international illegal trade, it will take the whole team to keep her safe while they figure out the details and bring this operation to a crashing halt.
This is book two in the Safe and Secure series but can be enjoyed as a standalone.
Publisher’s Note: This adult romance contains elements of mystery, suspense, action, adventure, danger, power exchange and sensual scenes. If any of these offend you, please do not purchase.

Excerpt:
Jessie hated punishments…
Sliding two fingers inside the elastic at the waist of her panties, Mark slowly brought them down over Jessie’s bottom, stopping his descent briefly to rub his hands in slow, sensual circles over her bared rear end. The frissons of response that action created were both erotic and expectant. Her knees became unsteady. One sharp sting on a lower cheek followed by his skillful massage before repeating the act on the other cheek had her melting.
“Mmm,” came his hum of approval. Without warning, a long, experienced finger slid between her nether lips just enough to tease her vaginal entrance. A line of wetness trailed his finger, and he resumed his panty retreat from her thighs, his caresses repeated as he walked the silk, and lace over her calves.
“Step,” he instructed when the panties reached her feet. She did, and then they were whisked away. She couldn’t believe he was sniffing her panties then pocketing them, but he was. Mark was obviously as turned on as she was.
“Mark…” her voice anguished.
“These have your tantalizing perfume sweetheart, and I can’t resist inhaling.” Then he patted his thigh, and his voice lost all playfulness. “You have to place yourself this time, baby. We’ve been here enough. You know what to do.”
He patted his thigh again, and Jessie could feel her face and neck flush with heat. Her lip hurt from her teeth bearing down on the tender flesh, her tongue slipped out to caress the nipped area. Mark pulled her toward him and kissed her bruised lips, bruising them more with his intensity. He spoke with longing and a hint of frustration as he squeezed her bottom. The room twirled, and Jessie thought she was going to come from the arousal her man had excited in her.
“You make it hard to punish you when all I want to do is take you to bed and have my wicked way with you.”
“I want that.”
“Spanking first, naughty girl.” His tone was resigned. She needed to be resolute as well. Get past this part so we can move onto the good stuff.
Before she could register more than consuming lust, she found herself ass up over his knee. She swiftly took a deep breath, her ass already stinging, and heating. No warning, no warm-up, no words. But his impatient frustration took the job of placement from her. The few other times he’d made her count out the number of punishment swats he had proclaimed she’d earned, but not this time. He slapped her backside hard, and fast, painting every single inch several times over with his painful presence. The heat was intense, the sting approached unbearable, and her squirming had begun in full force.
“Mark, please, please, this… ow… this is too much. Baby, please, I… ow, I get it. I’m sorry, please, stop.”
She wiggled her bottom, and he continued to slap it until, as quickly as he’d started, he stopped. A deep breath in, and a whoosh of pent up air released. He was rubbing her tight, hot, aching bottom, and while it still hurt like hell, she could feel her liquid arousal. The tears in her eyes did not diminish the burn in her ass or the ache in her pussy. The tingling was morphing into desire. Without any indication he was going to change his activity again, his large fingers invaded her wet center, scooping up some fluid and spreading it to her clit, then gathered more to smooth over her back entrance.

Q & A with Alyssa Bailey
1. Where did Jessie come from?
Accounting, of course. Ha-ha Jessie was mentioned in the first book as a quiet, non-descript scene filler and before I knew it, she was taking over one of the ending scenes of Saving Sharlee.
2. Mark seemed more intense and yet disciplined less than the others. Why?
Mark disciplined for discipline and he wasn’t as much into that as the sexy discipline sessions. He also adjusted his intensity to be with Jessie who was a polar opposite from Sharlee. The things we do for love.
3. What is one of your favorite things to do?
Have a tea party. We do one at Christmas with all the girls from 0 to 99.
4. Do you like your men with long or short hair?
LONG. If it is kept neat and clean, I love it flowing down his back.
5. Beard or mustache?
Both, if you mean on him not her. I love a full beard on some and then some… not so much. Mustache is the same. If it is trimmed neatly and kept clean, I love it. No straggly mess for me.

He loves her sass but worries that she’ll find herself in real trouble if he cannot keep her under control. So, despite her protests, he takes her in hand. For her own good

Excerpt:

Jac was done negotiating. She wanted it. It satisfied his need to correct her naughty ass. Win-win. Besides, he’d be able to place his hand on her delectable bottom. She had scared years off his life when he found out she was on a site, armed. She had burrowed into his heart and taken up residence. He didn’t know what to do about his feelings, but she’d never be able to stand in the line of fire. He would never deal well with it.

He led her to the chair in front of his desk and flipped it around. The soft exhale from her sweet lips became liquid heat in his engorged cock. He had spent more hours in the gym recently and experienced more cold showers trying to tame his libido than he had as a teenager. He knew he was at the end of his rope. He wanted to kiss her submission when she slid her long, tapered fingers into his.

She was as good as his if he could get a solid indication from her that she was interested. He was ready to act on his need and hers in more than discipline. His calculations said she was ready for this, and him. He slid his hands over her hips and hooked his thumbs into the elastic of the sweat pants she wore. He marveled at the fact that she didn’t even wear a pair of jeans to add more protection. She had no idea how to stay safe in the field or on site and he intended to make her understand that.

Sharlee placed her hand in his. Her eyes were pleading. She was worrying her lip in the most erotic way. He shook his head as much at her as himself. She released a soft sigh indicating her acceptance and put her hands on his chest as he lowered her pants, bringing immediate heat to every inch of his body. Did she have any idea of her effect on him?

“Good girl.” Her eyes lit up. His cock jumped. He nudged her over his lap. Her sweet submission would kill him.

Five in the same spot on each pale cheek soon turned them bright pink. She inhaled swiftly at each smack and softly exhaled as the feeling took over. It should have been enough and for the average woman he had placed in this position it had been, but Sharlee wanted this. He wanted this. He could show her even more play at another time. She would like it in play, but this was discipline. He continued.

His swats were slow, intense, and methodical, delivering a gradual, intense, and penetrating burn. He had practiced this technique plenty of times. Spanking wasn't as deviant as others sometimes thought. If it was something both participants wanted, craved, it was sensual, intimate, and incredibly hot in so many ways.

Excerpt:

“Don’t pick those up. Just tell me what they say, and I’ll bring them.”

“Nonsense. I’m strong as an ox.” She lifted it, surprised that it weighed as much as it did.

“Samantha!”

Surprised at his tone of voice, she froze. He moved toward her and took it from her, frowning.  “What did I just tell you?”

“Not to, but I’m—”

“I heard what you said.” His voice was firm. “This is my house. I’ll do the heavy stuff. Do you hear me?”

She took a step backward, away from him. “I hear you.”

“Then do as I say.” His voice was not just firm. There was a stern quality to it.

She stared at him, speechless, and blinked. She was at a loss. It wasn’t the first time today that he’d used that tone of voice with her.

“I don’t like being scolded.” She had to admit, she sounded petulant.

“There’s a way to avoid it.” He moved into the kitchen with the oversized box, setting it on the island. When she didn’t respond, he turned to her. “Some of these are quite heavy. I don’t want to be responsible for you getting hurt.”

“I’m accustomed to doing things for myself.  And I’ve handled heavier things than this.”

He leaned one hand on the countertop, turning. “I’m absolutely sure that’s true. And perhaps in the past three years you’ve had to do it a lot. On the other hand, this is my house and right now you’re my responsibility, so these are my rules. Now. That’s all I’m going to say about it, except for this. The next time I see you doing it, I’ll smack your bottom.”

She gasped. “You wouldn’t dare.”

His face was close to hers; quite close.

“Try me.”

Pippa Greathouse in her own words

An assignment by my elegant and sweet fifth grade teacher was what started it all. The assignment: to write a short story and read it aloud to the class.

Enter a story about a group of fifth grade kids camping in the woods who were attacked by a Grizzly; add body parts everywhere and kids being mauled to death one by one, and pile on top one horrified teacher (Poor Mrs. J!). The kids thought it was cool, however, and I was hooked.

Writing continued throughout Junior and Senior High, in the form of space stories, then spy stories, and by the time I reached high school, had turned into romances!  Every year when spring fever hit, I would take my notebook outside at lunchtime, and soak up the sun, and write. Then I would take it home and type it up on onionskin paper, on an old Underwood typewriter (Yes, I know I'm old!)

One day a few years ago while cleaning, I came upon a tote containing a wad of onionskin paper, rolled up. I was delighted to find a story that I had written when I was about eighteen, and thought, "Hmm, I wonder what would happen if I sat down and re-wrote this? And submitted it?”

My favorite Heroine? One with intelligence, integrity, courage, and firm determination. I love to have the heroine and hero ‘make a difference’ in the surroundings and lives of others in the story.

And needless to say, my favorite hero is an "Alpha male" who loves his woman to distraction, but is smart (yes, in my opinion, smart is extremely sexy!) stern, and willing to be as strict as necessary to protect her from danger, even danger from herself.

#SaturdaySpankings - a challenge for Lachlan

Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop where some of your favourite writers share their work. Today I'm sharing Trusting Ingrid.

Ingrid is incredible in the old-fashioned sense of the world – almost beyond belief.

She has spent her entire life looking after number one. Charming when she needs to be, she can lie more persuasively than an Academy-award winning actor. After all, society’s rules don’t apply to her.

If all this made her happy, it wouldn’t be so bad. But she’s a desperately unhappy woman, wrestling with alcoholism and not winning the battle.

Enter Lachlan, a man with a commitment to rescuing feral, frightened creatures.

From Trusting Ingrid, book 3 in the Romancing the Coast series:

Ingrid melted against Lachlan, driving her long powerful thighs against his. She was hungry, her need at least as great as his. He could feel it in the heat pouring from every cell in her body.

Then she shut herself down.

She wanted control, a power-exchange game he knew well.

What does a control freak need the most? Someone to take over the helm for a while. When he told her he’d spank her, he’d swept his hand over her breast. Sure enough, her nipple had hardened at his words. That was all he needed to know. Even if she said she wouldn’t pick him up at the airport, he’d come back here anyway. She wasn’t going to get away that easily.

The biggest challenge with Ingrid would be reading her true desire. Even if she said she was direct, sex was never that simple. Lachlan’s type of sex was even more precarious. He’d have to get her consent without her conceding any sort of defeat.

Conquering a woman of Ingrid’s complex combination of strength and frailty would be like walking through a minefield. He couldn’t wait to get back to her.

#SatSpanks - To all appearances, normal

My book, Holding Cynthia is about an independent, willful Cynthia who is fast falling love with Antony. They are sitting at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the ocean before she gets her first spanking:

“Finish your coffee,” Antony said softly.

The silence that filled the car after that exchange was mellow, undramatic. The dog walkers, hikers, and other tourists that walked past them would have seen nothing remarkable in the two people in the dusty car. How many would have suspected they were looking at an adult couple drinking coffee before they went back to their guest house for an afternoon of domestic discipline? No one. Cynthia was sure of that.

As she slipped her cup into the cup holder, she shook, feeling light-headed. Antony put his large, warm hand over hers.

“You need this, you know you do.”

Cynthia bowed her head, remembering how grateful she’d been when Antony had rescued her. A spanking would be a small price to pay for that.

#SatSpanks - the first lesson

My book, Holding Cynthia is about independent, willful Cynthia who is falling love with Antony, all too quickly. Last week he announced that he was going to spank her for disobeying an order. The conversation continues (edited):

His words hung in the air between them like a sudden frost.

Her mouth was chalk dry. “Spank me?”

“Yes, spank you. Bare your bottom and turn you over my knee. When you disobey me, I will punish you in the good, old-fashioned way. Do you understand?” His voice was level, calm. Most of all it was authoritative.

“What? You think I’m going to just submit to that?” Even as she asked the question her pussy clenched with desire and her fingers itched to touch him, to say yes with caresses. She wanted her body to consent so she wouldn’t have to say the words out loud.

“That is exactly what I think.” He didn’t wait for her to answer. “I’m going to spank you, gently this time because you’re new to the practice.

Becoming Family by PK Corey

If you like a contemporary story full of suspense, humor, discipline and sweet romance – look no further. Book 2 in PK Corey’s Cal’s Law Series is out now. Becoming Family is the story of a town sheriff and wealthy college girl whose love bridges the wide gaps in their social worlds.

She was planning to entertain him, but he was overdressed for what she had in mind.

Blurb: Against overwhelming odds, Jenny and Cal are together and happy. Their love is strong, but before they can become family Jenny needs to learn what that word means. Jenny has no background in the real meaning of "family" but when Cal wants her to meet his and get to know hers, she knows the time has come. The difference in the two families is wide and jarring. Jenny has a lot to learn, but then so does Cal. When he meets her family, he discovers that the word family doesn't always mean the same thing to all people.

Jenny’s mother has planned a future for her daughter that does not include someone as ordinary as Cal Bennet. What could this small-town hick with no money and no connections do for her? How far will her mother go to see that Jenny accepts a life of high society and prestige? Will these two lovers come to an understanding of what their family will look like?

Disclaimer: Becoming Family is intended for adults only. Spankings and other sexual activities represented in the book are fantasies only, intended for adults only. Nothing in this book should be interpreted by Blushing Books’ or the author's advocating any non-consensual spanking or other sexual activity or the spanking of minors.

Excerpt:

“How about a striptease?”

“A striptease!” Jenny laughed. But with a shrug, she dug out her phone and found appropriate music.

Cal’s eyes widened as she began – damn, had she been practicing or something? Discarding her clothes in a most elegant and sensuous way, Cal wouldn’t have looked away for a million dollars.

Stopping with only her thong on Jenny crawled up on the bed and gave Cal a kiss that made him feel like he was about to embarrass himself. He quickly undressed before sitting back on the bed and leaning back against the headboard once more. Taking a deep breath, he pulled her across his lap, shifting a little to accommodate his erection.

“Stop it, what’s going on?” Jenny asked trying to pull away.

“Nothing,” Cal told her beginning to rub her ass. “I did tell you that you had a spanking coming for trying to talk me out of going to see the folks and giving me a very uncomfortable ride over there.”

“Cal, don’t you dare! You know I was teasing. You can’t spank me for that. Let me go!” Jenny told him angrily.

“Jenny honey, you need to see that there is nothing bad about most spankings.” Cal spanked her ass gently. “Some spankings are just for fun, some are to reconnect, some to release stress. They’re tons of reasons for me to spank this beautiful ass. And I think you’ll like most of them.”

Jenny was still tense but stopped struggling. “I don’t like being in this position, it’s embarrassing.”

“It’s beautiful,” Cal countered.

More about PK Corey in her own words:

The love of writing came to me late in life and I spent time trying to fit writing into a busy schedule. Recently I retired, the kids are out and on their own and my wonderful husband encourages me to spend more time exploring the world of writing.

I always hear you should write what you want to read, so I have. I write loving domestic discipline with the stress on ‘loving’. I want a strong man who cherishes the woman he loves and will go to any length to keep her safe and protected.

My Cassie’s Space series shows a mature couple who are deeply in love. Despite loving Cassie’s free spirited ways Tom is determination to keep her safe, even if it takes a trip over his knee. My new series, Cal’s Law, is about a younger couple. Though they come from very different backgrounds, love and discipline draw them together.

Questions and answers with PK Corey:

What is your writing environment?

I love to write in the mornings when I have the house to myself and it’s very quiet. We have a sun room that overlooks our pool and the small forest behind out house. I’m there most morning with my coffee, a fire if it’s cool, the windows opened if it’s warm. Add a cat or two and I’m ready to write.

What are you working on now and when can we expect it to be available?

I’m working on my latest Cassie book. I’m enjoying the writing process and I’m taking my time. I’ll soon be finished with the first draft, but it will be a while before it comes out. Hopefully it will be sometime late in 2017.

Where are you from?

I’m a true southerner. I live in the small town where I was born. I taught for twenty-eight years in my old high school, just down the street from the home where I grew up. All my characters are southern as well. Cassie and the gang as well as Cal and Jenny live in the town where my mother was raised and where I’ve loved visiting all my life.

When and why did you begin writing?

My Cassie character has been in my head for fifty years. I would justify all the time I spent day-dreaming by telling myself I’d write her stories as a book someday, but I never really believed it would happen. Then ten years ago I found blogs and some wonderful people who wrote spanking stories. I tried my hand at blogging and writing the stories Cassie had whispered in my ears all those years. The response was very encouraging. I finally made that old dream of writing books a reality.

#SatSpanks - Anticipation

Another Saturday and another Saturday Spankings blog hop – thanks for joining us! Today’s excerpt is from Sadie Says I Do where Sadie has been left alone in Simon’s office, bent over his desk, while he answers the door.

Silence descended on the house and I rested my forehead on the back of my hands and stretched my legs quickly. Knowing that Simon walked as silently as a cat in his deerskin moccasins I didn’t dare break my position for any longer. I tried to calculate how long it took to walk from the front door to the office. Surely he should be back by now. I strained my ears and caught a faraway murmur of conversation but it quickly disappeared. The concrete walls made effective soundproofing.

Other than those few short moves, I stayed in position, not wanting to challenge Simon with further disobedience. I recited poetry in my head, tried to remember my favorite movie plots, thought of the recipes we were making for the family dinner the next night. I tried to think of anything other than the hiding I was about to get but nothing worked. Caught in the dark limbo of waiting for a spanking, my thoughts kept coming back to the roasting I had earned.

#SatSpanks Simon's dilemma

Thank you for joining the Saturday Spankings blog hop. Today’s excerpt is from Sadie Says I Do where Sadie’s behavior has created a bit of a dilemma for Simon.

“What are you thinking about?” I stuffed some noodles into my mouth.

“That you’ve created a complex problem of right and wrong. I’m thinking about how you will be punished for it.”

“How about putting it into the too hard basket and moving on?” I asked with more hope in my voice than I actually felt.

“Good try but you know that’s not going to happen. I’m going to give it some thought and we’ll settle the major part of the debt when I’ve reached a decision. We’ll clear it soon. I wouldn’t want my parents to arrive and find you all jumpy because you’re worried about what’s going to happen to your backside.”

“What if I’m all jumpy because my backside is so sore?”

“That doesn’t usually make you jumpy. Even though you may not be comfortable sitting for a while, you’re usually very calm after a good spanking. Obviously you’ve missed the benefit of regular sessions so we need to think about resuming these after we’ve settled these outstanding issues.”

Cal's Law by PK Corey

If you know PK Corey and her books, it won’t surprise you to learn that her latest, Cal’s Law, is getting great reviews. If the excerpt that follows here isn’t enough, you can read more on her blog here or by following the links from the Saturday Spankings blog.

He was too old for her, and she was too much of a spoiled little rich girl for him.

Blurb:

Jenny is the typical rich-kid, sorority girl. Getting good grades isn’t high on her priority list. In fact, that sits well below getting into the secret faction of her sorority. To do that she must pull off a daring bit of mischief.

Cal Bennett is the town sheriff. He’s a relatively young, no-nonsense, kind of guy – with a heart of gold. He is the moral center of this small town in North Carolina. But when his and Jenny’s paths cross unexpectedly, things get complicated and he questions his morals and his heart.

His plan to save Jenny from herself by enforcing strict discipline seems like a sound one.  To both of them. At first. He enacts a touch of martial law and Jenny agrees to learn more than English Lit. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry are but a few of her new subjects. Along with time-management, telling the truth and doing homework. Breaking any one in this new set of rules will result in a sound spanking. It all sounds simple enough when she signs on the dotted line of the contract between her and her sheriff.

But, life is messy and she is faced with one tough decision after another. She’s a college student! Shouldn’t life be easier than this? Less complicated? But she is pulled in two directions: her moral, upstanding sheriff leads her down one path, and a cute frat boy leads her down another. In one direction lies maturity, and a future. In the other, the simplicity of being a rich kid in college where Mommy and Daddy pay for everything. Now she must choose: Will she continue to let her parents pay for it all, or will she learn to pay the price for her own actions?

Publishers’ note: Cal’s Law is intended for adults only. Spanking and other sexual activities represented in this book are fantasies only, intended for adults. Nothing in this book should be interpreted as Blushing Books’ or the author’s advocating any non-consensual spanking activity or spanking of minors.

Excerpt:

Cal followed Jenny to her room silently. Jenny grabbed a few things before glancing back at him. “You looked pissed. Are you mad at me? I didn’t do anything.”

Ignoring her questions Cal said, “Just hurry.”

Jenny grabbed make-up and her toothbrush and crammed them in with the clothes, computer and cords she’d packed and quickly followed Cal out of the building. Still he remained silent and Jenny began to feel uncomfortable.

“Are you sure this place is going to have room for me this late?”

“She’ll have room,” Cal answered briefly.

What was wrong? Was this his work mode? Whatever it was she didn’t like this side of him. Quickly she blurted out, “If you’re mad at me tell me why. If you act like you’re pissed all the time you’re working, it’s no wonder everyone hates cops.”

Cal glared at her just before pulling up to a large clapboard house. “You didn’t tell me how bad it was. You never said you got in a fight this morning and slapped someone. When you said you wanted to move you never told me they were violent.” Cal’s voice got louder, “You never said that I was sending you back into a dangerous situation.”

“Don’t yell at me!” Jenny snapped back. “It wasn’t violent until tonight so don’t take that tone and try to blame me. You don’t need to get your panties in such a wad.”

Cal realized he was blaming the wrong person and his face showed it. “All right, I’m sorry. And I don’t wear panties,” he growled.

“Really?” Jenny grinned, “Me either sometimes.”

Jenny was happy to see a slight blush on Cal’s face before he exited the car.

PK Corey in her own words:

1. When did writing become important to you?

I discovered spanking blogs just over ten years ago. They really caught my interest and they stirred a desire to write some of the stories that had long been in my head. I wrote my first story after I turned fifty.

2. Do you view writing as a career?

I’ve recently retired from teaching, so I can’t say I see writing as a true career yet, but it’s more important to me than just a hobby.

3. What puts you in the best mood to write?

I’m alone at home, fresh cup of coffee, turn on the gas logs, convince the cats to lay on my feet and not the keyboard and I’m ready to write.

4. You’ve written nine books in the Cassie series and this book begins a new series. What draws you to writing series.

I’ve been an avid reader since I was about ten. I’ve never put down a book I enjoyed without asking, ‘But then what happened?’ Now I get to do the writing and I can answer that question.  I really get into my characters and I want my readers to get to know them just as well. I like series to be able to show how the characters grow and develop and change over time.

5. Do you have any advice for other writers?

Not everyone will be able to use my first pieces of advice, but they are: Love your kids dearly, then get them grown and out of the house! Secondly, retire. Those two things have helped the most. After that I’d say make a time to write every day that you can. You may decide it’s awful and discard it, but write anyway – the next day you could be brilliant.
