The Leading Man and I are about to hit the road for five weeks or more. Of course I’m taking my laptop but I may be off the air for days at a time.

I'm excited to be going to the Blushing Books conference in Reno which runs from May 13th to 15th. Can't wait to meet some of the people I've only known online until now.

I will be home again in June, looking forward to the release of my next book with Blushing Books. The release date for Trusting Ingrid is June 15, 2018. This is book 3 in the Romancing the Coast series.

To pique your curiosity, here’s a small snippet:

Being a powerful woman had its advantages but very few of them extended to Ingrid’s love life. Her chances of getting anywhere with Lachlan might be extremely limited but she decided not to accept defeat without at least trying.

This simmering hot man needed a direct challenge.

“Who’s going to tan this backside?” she teased, punctuating her comment with a light slap to her own bottom.

Lachlan grabbed her right wrist, trapping her in front of him. His free hand rested on her left breast.

My book, Holding Cynthia is about an independent, willful Cynthia who is fast falling love with Antony. They are sitting at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the ocean before she gets her first spanking:

“Finish your coffee,” Antony said softly.

The silence that filled the car after that exchange was mellow, undramatic. The dog walkers, hikers, and other tourists that walked past them would have seen nothing remarkable in the two people in the dusty car. How many would have suspected they were looking at an adult couple drinking coffee before they went back to their guest house for an afternoon of domestic discipline? No one. My pulse raced and I wished I could fast forward the next few minutes. He traced small circles first on one cheek then on the other.

“You are both naughty and forgetful,” he said. “How many times have we talked lately about the problems that come when one of us acts unilaterally?”

“Less than a thousand?” I hoped humor might get me some clemency.

“Correct in a smartass way.” Smack. “But if numbers are so hard for you maybe you need to work on them. You can keep track of how many times I spank you. Ready?”

He didn’t give me time to answer. The slaps came hard and fast and I fought to keep breathing as I counted aloud.
