#SatSpanks - Naked submission

Today I’m sharing an excerpt from my shiny new novel, Sadie Says I Do, (Simon in Charge series book 3) It can be read as part of the series or as a standalone book.

In this scene, Sadie is about to be spanked for three major offences. She’s hoping to get off lightly by walking into his office naked but I don’t like her chances:

I hoped to disarm him just a little so I tiptoed into his office, the water from my shower still beading on my skin. When he looked up at me, his pupils dilated. I bit back a giggle of triumph and lowered my eyes so he couldn’t see the victory in them.

He pointed and I walked to the bedroom in front of him, dragging my feet ever so slightly. He sat in the armchair by the window. We were on the top floor of the tallest building around so no one could see in. Yet standing in front of that open door to the patio made shyness creep over me.

“Close it.” He nodded at the door with his uncanny way of knowing what was worrying me.

“And the curtains?” I asked hopefully.

“No. No one can see us but I don’t want anyone to hear the unmistakable sounds of a naughty girl having her bottom warmed.”

“Go.”

“What? Why?” Katie’s stunned expression expressed her confusion.

“We’ve already had this conversation. Five minutes in the corner. Now go.”

“Rose!”

With a very unladylike noise, Katie stomped to the corner where she crossed her arms and seethed with anger. "Heather, open up. I'm freezing my nuts off out here." The familiar voice rang in her head. Heather covered her ears.

"Hey, I know you're in there. Let me in."

She shrank into a crouch.

Seconds before his mouth covered hers, she whispered, “Sebastian, I don’t—” The rest of the sentence died under the quick spear of his tongue, seeking entrance into the hot moist haven of her mouth.

Saturday Spankings - A Prairie Promise

Happy holidays! Christmas is my favorite time of year so I’m thrilled that my short story, A Prairie Promise, will be included in Blushing Books’ holiday anthology this year. Learn how you can read all the short stories for free at the end of this blog post.

A Prairie Promise features Aussie surfer, Kylie Sandford, who is house sitting her aunt’s home on the frozen Canadian prairie. Before she arrived in Edmonton Kylie had never seen snow in real life. Next door neighbor, Will, has been urging her to be more careful when she goes for a run in the bitterly cold weather. So far, she seems to be a very slow learner:

She spun on her toes to walk away. Before she took one step, he smacked her bottom. Hard.

“Ouch!” she said, staring back at him wide-eyed.

“A taste of things to come.” Will grinned. “Because so far you seem to be ignoring my advice. I’m not talking to exercise my vocal chords so the next time you forget, I will take great pleasure in turning your cheeks a nice Christmas red.”

Kylie had no answer for that. Struggling to steady her heart rate, she walked quickly back to her house hoping he didn’t see the blush crawling over her body.

She reached for his gun, to remove it from the holster, so she could wipe it clean, then she froze as she remembered exactly what Danny was. He was a gunfighter. A killer. “You’re hurt,” she pointed out.

He smiled in spite of the pain, his eyes crinkling up at the corners as he looked down at her. “Not too hurt to spank a naughty girl who disobeys.” As if to prove his point, he drew back his hand and smacked her bottom, reigniting the burn.

Her eyes widened in shock as she reached back to rub out the sting. Hurt or not, his hard hand was still strong. She felt a spasm right in her very core at his touch. His dominance turned her insides to mush.

The hand that had smacked her returned to her chin and he tilted her face sideways slightly so he could whisper huskily in her ear. “So leave my guns alone.”

“Yes sir,” she breathed.

My pulse raced and I wished I could fast forward the next few minutes. He traced small circles first on one cheek then on the other.

“You are both naughty and forgetful,” he said. “How many times have we talked lately about the problems that come when one of us acts unilaterally?”

“Less than a thousand?” I hoped humor might get me some clemency.

“Correct in a smartass way.” Smack. “But if numbers are so hard for you maybe you need to work on them. You can keep track of how many times I spank you. Ready?”

He didn’t give me time to answer. The slaps came hard and fast and I fought to keep breathing as I counted aloud.

Excerpt:

Leaving my empty goblet, I slide from the soft pile at his order. I can already feel the desire bursting from between my thighs as I fall to all fours and begin my crawl to where he has seated himself.
